Fixed auto discount for category

Hi,
I have tried to setup a fixed auto discount for a category, but it will not work.
What I want to achieve is:
Add 3 items or more from category X and get amount Y in discount.
How do I set this up, so it will work?

Discount amount: Y
Min qty of matching products: 3
Categories: X
Auto coupon: yes

Thanks for fast reply.
This is exactly the settings I have used. And only those. But still it does not work.
I have disabled the Bulk Discount plugin as well.
Any suggestions?

I figured it out.
The error occurred as I did not give a code for the coupon.
I thought this field should be empty as no code is needed.
With a code it works automatically – without giving the code in the cart.
