    Hi,
we’ve been using the FREE version of this plugin for quite a while now and decided to upgrade to the PRO version due to the additional coupon features. However with the PRO version it isn’t possible to remove added coupons in the frontend (like cart page or side cart) anymore. You can click the cross to remove the coupon and even the message – that the coupon has been removed – appears. But the coupon is still active and nothing changed.

When I change back to the FREE version everything works fine like always. Where’s the problem? How can we fix this?

    Thanks in advance!
    Roman

Hi, due to the bugs I cannot use the Plugin in our live shop, so I created a testing environment.

Here is the link to the cart page:
    https://btizdeg5.myraidbox.de/warenkorb/

We purchased the pro version to be able to offer a gift if the customer’s cart reaches a minimum of 55€. Then he should be able to choose from a free product. When the customer adds the coupon code on the cart page it works and he can choose from a free product in the checkout process. We tested little bit and encountered some strange bugs, which make the pro version unusable.

    1. When the pro version of the plugin is enabled, all of our coupons can’t be removed anymore.
    2. When the customer enters their coupon code in the checkout process, nothing happens. In this case he cannot choose from a product.
    3. When the customer adds the coupon on the cart page and chose a free product during checkout process but abandoned the checkout at a later step and goes back to the cart, then the free product appears in the cart with full price and it cannot be remove from the cart anymore. The customer is now stuck with a “free” product with full price, and a coupon code that cannot be removed. Horrible scenario for usability.

The coupon we wanted to use is 8a45sh3b. You have to reach 55€ cart value to be able to enter the code.
Another random code to test that it cannot be removed: yx8brhsd

Unfortunately the free product selection does not work with the new WooCommerce Blocks Cart. So for free product selection you would need to use the old cart shortcode [woocommerce_cart] or, unfortunately, find another free gift plugin.

There was an issue with coupon removal in the WooCommerce Blocks Cart. Version 3.3.7 contains a fix for this.
