BOBO coupon setup

How do I set up a BOGO coupon that offers 50% off with the purchase of one product? It isn’t as intuitive as I thought it should be. I’m using WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features PRO. Thanks for any help.

• Create a 50% discount coupon
• On the usage restrictions tab limit to the product(s) to which it must apply
• Set minimum quantity of matching products to: 2
• On the Usage Limits tab choose ‘Limit discount to’: ‘Every nth item’

That will discount every 2nd (matching) item in the cart.

Would this coupon set up work for auto coupon of Buy One Get one 50% off? Would I just have to select the Auto Coupon option in Miscellaneous tab? Thanks.

Yes, that’s right. And preferably enter a description for the coupon.
