    Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way I can do a 3 for 2 using your software? Specifically in a given category I want the customer to be able to add 3 items and the cheapest of the 3 gets discounted.

    Is this possible with you?

    Thanks

Create a 100% discount coupon with a ‘min qty of matching products’ of 3.
Then set ‘limit discount to’: every nth item.

brilliant thanks this seems to be a good solution. It doesn’t always discount cheapest item, does it just discount the third item added to cart i assume ?

It sorts the item expensive to cheap before discounting every 3rd item. So if there are 3 items it will always discount the cheapest item.

    E.g. if the cart contains items with a value of $ 60,50,40,30,20,10 (one each) the discount will be 40 + 10 = $ 50.
